▪ Movie review:
- Times of India :- Known for making films that work towards bridging the age and gender gap, Balki's Padman is an empowering film that gives you the wings, despite the odds. It will free women of their inhibitions and that will be its biggest success. Period!
Rating : 3.5/5
- Taran Adarsh : Padman mesmerises you with the story and storytelling, both... This well-intentioned film enlightens, educates as well as entertains... R Balki, take a bow. This is amongst your best works... Must watch!
Rating : 4/5
- Pinkvilla : Akshay-Sonam-Radhika’s period talk is winsome despite an underwhelming first half
- Koimoi : For those who’re thinking if you could connect with the message of Pad Man, trust me you will. Every good thing comes with an expiry date and enjoy this era of Akshay Kumar till it lasts (Hope it’s here for a couple of more decades). The combo of entertainment plus message-driven plot is a rare occurrence and Padman fits the bill.
Rating : 3.5/5
- Filmfare : The first half, which has lots of interaction between Laxmikant (Akshay Kumar) and his wife Gayatri (Radhika Apte) flows like a breeze. There is real chemistry between Akshay Kumar and Radhika Apte. Their interactions breathe life into the film. Sonam and Akshay also look good together.
